Upgrading from Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 to 17.8.11

The upgrade notification from Plesk Onyx 17.5.3 to 17.8.11 was displayed, so I upgraded.

Preparation

Since the upgrade process was expected to take quite some time, I changed the browser's keep-alive timeout setting based on past remarks.

In Firefox, use about:config to display the configuration screen. Continue with the warning message.

I did a search on network.http.keep-alive.timeout and changed the default of 115 seconds to 600 (10 minutes).

(Not sure if this process is really necessary.)

Upgrade implemented

Perform the upgrade at a time when the CPU load is low.

When nothing appears for a few minutes during the process, it's a little scary, but you have to be patient.
