The layout may be broken in IE11. However, in IE11, the layout does not collapse. Even though it is the same IE11.

The IE11 that is installed depends on the version of Windows.

After researching, different versions of Windows were used; as of July 2018.

(Layout will be corrupted.)
Windows7
IE version: 11.0.9600.19080
IE update version: 11.0.70
(Layout will be corrupted.)
Windows8.1
IE version: 11.0.9600.19078
IE update version: 11.0.70
(Normal representation)
Windows10

Verifying the status in IE11 on Windows 10 does not necessarily mean that it will display correctly in IE11 on Windows 8.1 or Windows 7.
Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 are already no longer supported by Microsoft, so if you want to include IE11 in your operation, you can write that anything under Windows 10 is out of scope.

There seems to be a difference in behavior, especially with SVG and flex-box.

Eventually, IE will disappear.
